The girls and I have been busy making “Socks for Cat’s in Jail.” If you are saying “what???” you're not alone. We have been busy recycling old baby, children’s and women’s socks into toys for cats at the local animal shelters.
The girls are practicing using the sewing machine, and we stuff the socks with pillow case stuffing and cat nip. It is always a pleasure to be able to take the toys to shelters and give them to the cats that are a waiting on their forever homes. Pictured are sock types we have used and examples of toys that we have made.
